Photography is an exhiliaration, an expanding of the senses. Photography fills you with a love of the environment around you, the movement of people, the movement of the sky. There are the shapes and shadows that normally only lurk vaguely in the corners of your vision, but now they jump out at you vying for attention. Each day is a new day, a reawakening vision that startles you into wakefulness and an awareness of creation's wildly changing perspectives. If you ask any man on the street to tell you what the clouds are like today, without looking up, he likely can't tell you.

Once you take up the camera and learn to see, you will KNOW the sky, the shade, the light, everything that is. You will find a final clarity and even, after awhile, a sense of the meaning and a purpose of all things.
