Finally the weather had become interesting again. I could see that something amazing was happening in the west so I headed that direction. In the fields I was able to capture an enormous ring cloud approaching rapidly. It was almost upon me, threatening to overtake my location, so this forced me to become inventive. I decided very quickly to capture it as a full 360 degree panorama, even though the condtions were windy and dangerous . Every other photographer is going to try to capture the cloud itself, but that is not my way.  I wanted to capture the entire experience, and that meant a full panorama.
A tornado spotting vehicle was in the vicinity but I think they did not find one, thankfully!
