Charities that I support
Ronald McDonald House
There are three chapters to whom I donate at least one, sometimes two, large framed panoramas to their auctions each year, including Innisfail and Edmonton. This year I made a donation of "Following the Storm VI" to a silent auction hosted by Envent Engineering in Calgary. Envent committed to matching the total raised and donating the proceeds to the Edmonton chapter of Ronald McDonald House. Through the generosity of everyone who attended the silent auction, Envent was able to match dollar for dollar to a total of $32,000, all of which was given directly to the Ronald McDonald House charities.
I have requested more detailed information to pass on in the future and will receive that eventually. RMH is currently consolidating the different fund-raising groups on the province.
Ellis Bird Farm
I provide one medium-sized panorama each year for their annual fund-raising auction.
The bird farm is host to Purple Martin, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Pine Siskin, American Goldfinch, Black-capped Chickadee, Tree and Barn Swallow, Least Flycather, Yellow Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, Red-winged blackbird, Great Horned Owls, Great Blue Heron and several different species of waterfowl. Ellis Bird Farm depends entirely on donations.
Good Samaritan Clearwater Center, in Rocky Mountain House
A supportive living and long term care facility.
This wonderful organization has been kind enough to purchase a number of prints from me for display around their building. I donate one panorama or framed print each year for their auction. Also I bring my display setup on family day each fall so that residents and family can see Alberta landscapes without having to travel outside.
Would you like me to visit your facility or business with a display? During certain times of the year I am available to do so.
